Community organizers, government racial equity practitioners, and nonprofit housing agencies are using research-informed housing narratives and communications tools to galvanize housing supporters. They are replacing dominant negative narratives with new positive narratives to shift the public debate.
Participants will learn how to:
Model making the case for solving the housing crisis by identifying the root causes and narratives of anti-Blackness and systemic racism that create the racial wealth gap.
Use Race Forward’s narrative and communications tools to tell stories and craft messages that bring your colleagues and neighbors into the movement for housing justice.
